Data Collection Questionnaire:
Background
Research conducted by Dr. Bilal Succar (AU) and Dr. Mohamad Kassem (UK) over the last three years has generated five conceptual models for macro BIM adoption. These models can be used for:
- Assessing a country’s current BIM adoption policy;
- Comparing the BIM maturity of different countries; and
- Developing a national BIM adoption policy.
The models were recently published in the ‘Automation in Construction Journal’ (May 2015) and have been used to assist policy makers in developing national BIM adoption policies.
Research aim
We are seeking your input to help us validate and/or improve the five models by:
- Reviewing each model separately;
- Apply the model within your country; and
- Evaluating the clarity, accuracy and usefulness of each model.
Process
There are five sections in this questionnaire. In each section (A-E), there is one model (an image), a short video (5-9 minutes), and a set of questions. You are kindly asked to watch the video, answer the corresponding questions, and then choose to either submit/exit the questionnaire or complete another section until all five sections are completed.
